70x double-glazed units were installed throughout the home using a combination of Ultra Low-E and standard Low-E glass. Ultra Low-E was strategically used in the main living area, where the primary heat source is located, to maximise heat retention and thermal efficiency. The remaining glazing was optimised across the home to deliver balanced performance, improved insulation, and greater comfort in every season.

Original aluminium colonial bars were removed to simplify the window layout and modernise the overall appearance. By eliminating unnecessary transoms and mullions, the joinery now presents a cleaner, more refined aesthetic, bringing a fresh, contemporary feel to the home.

An unused exterior door was removed as part of the upgrade, reducing potential draughts and improving thermal performance. This change also streamlined the façade, contributing to a more cohesive and modern exterior finish.

Additional redundant frame sections were removed, and where possible, windows were converted to fixed panes without colonial bars. This allowed for larger uninterrupted glass areas, bringing more natural light into the home while enhancing its clean, modern appearance.
